Dave has a wealth of knowledge about backyard design and pools winning Australia’s Best Pool Designer for 2021 and taking out Gold at the National 2021 SPASA Awards of Excellence.

The award was based on Dave Franklin’s design at TV Presenter and fellow cast member of The Block Shelley Craft’s home in Byron Bay.

The Byron Bay project required pool renovation and the design and development of a modern palm springs setting. The design encompassed a floating daybed, family-friendly one-step submerged beach feature for shallow bathing, high tech gas heated spa, luxurious water feature, fencing with cantilever beams installed to allow the growth of fragrant jasmine vines, frangipani plants with lights and lush tropical plants all set to create a magical atmosphere and award winning project.
