One Million Test Cycles Completed!
We are very proud to announce that Polaris Hinge has just ticked over ONE MILLION TEST CYCLES on our 125 series hinge.
The reason we are sharing this information is because we consider it very important for people to understand that we are constantly trying to improve our products and our testing.
Our constant cycle testing is an integral part of the development of our products.
Technically we must do 10,000 cycles for Australian standards and I believe the new standard that is going to be introduced is 25,000. Polaris has just completed one million cycles.
The reason higher cycles are important to test is because we have a situation where our products are in multiple resorts, hotels, being used in pet stores and where we have high volume uses of our gate.
We have to be able to make sure that our products are capable of high volume which is why we do EXTENDED CYCLE TESTING. When we have to comply with Australian standards, we do this at an accredited laboratory and are credited with the official paperwork but it is crucial that we have our own testing facilities to run 24/7 and test our products in-house. Legitimately we have been able to do over one million cycles with the Polaris Soft Close Hinge, that’s impressive in anyone’s book.
